Father Hennepin State Park, Isle, MN. Since my dorm for the first three years at Siena was Hennepin, I really had to make a trip here to check it out. After the run earlier, it was nice to take a ramble along the lake to Pope Point and enjoy the woods without rushing.

Hanging Trail Markers 58:45 [3] 2.8 km (20:59 / km) +38m 19:39 / km

Red trail, Table Rock Conservation, Lunenburg. I volunteered to help hang the new trail markers in the recently acquired land close to the house. I realized that I'm not the best at swinging a hammer, especially when it's quite a bit over my head. Ran out of light pretty quickly which didn't help the effort. This is going to take me some time.

Epic fail in my attempt to get some training in at Willard Brook. I ended up leaving the house later than I wanted, I entered the woods when it was really quite dark, the trails were really muddy, and the headlamp I grabbed was completely dead. Turned into a quick walk on a couple of trails and back to the car. Argh!
