Backcountry skiing 3:30:00 [3] 10.0 km (21:00 / km) +1200m 13:08 / km

Roger's Pass with Adam and Alice. We skied up the Connaught drainage to Ursus trees and lapped them twice. About 15-20cm over top of a supportive sun crust. Nice turns and the weather cleared enough to even get some views. I was feeling a bit sluggish from the cough I am still fighting off.

Ran to the hwy and back - 5km in 23:45. Then an easy 3km to finish.

Backcountry skiing 2:30:00 [3] +800m

Backcountry skiing at the Gorge. Conditions didn't look to promising on the way up. Warm temperatures (felt like spring today) have moistened the snowpack and created heavier, wet snow with a tempurature crust on top. Thought it might be ankle-breaker conditions but after summiting we found our way down through an area that hadn't been skied and actually had decent turns. Made it a short day as people needed to be back in town which is probably for the best as I am fighting a cough and am close to losing my voice.

Masters swimming. Felt a little lightheaded on the freestyle sets where we could only beathe every 9th stroke. Pretty fun workout overall. Even got to run some stairs and go down the waterslide a few times:)
