Fat biking again - a little less snow but more than I expected given that in town most has melted. A bit slushy in spots. A hour was about the max that my feet could handle despite neoprene booties. I think I would need some waterproof cycling boots if I did this more often. Still tricky on the steeper climbs but only had to walk a few times.

That time of year when running every day seems like the only exercise option as skiing of any sort is still not really ready - today took the fat bike out to mix things up. Variable amounts of snow on the trails - from zero to 15cm depending on the forest cover. Hard work climbing some of the hills due to traction issues. Good test of balance and momentum. Really fun though - felt like the trails were brand new and an interesting challenge.

Cartier with Courtney. I felt quite good running today despite my mild URTI - much more energetic than yesterday after a better night of sleep. Hoped that Cartier might have less snow than town - runnable though some ankle deep snow sections.
