Lynn Valley Adventure Run (5-hour Rogaine) - All the cool kids came out for this one...Hitchon, Robbins, Mandelli, Craik. You name it and the who's who of North Van were running around the bush and trails of Lynn Valley. The course was very well put together and it really wasn't obvious how to attack the control layout. We only had 15 minutes to prep so my magical pins and string didn't make an appearance, unfortunately. I had early goals to wipe the course but I was nowhere close. Looking at my Suunto Ambit track and comparing to the map, I found about 40 minutes that I should have used differently. However, when planning on the run, efficiency is far from easy to execute. It was a great run and while I really, really hurt now, I'll look forward to doing it again next year.

Yup FB, Will made it out and crushed it of course. He'll be ready to drag you around the wilds of Oz in a few weeks for sure.

Back home from Deep Cove along the Baden Powell trail. Nearing the end, we were out of daylight and sans headlamps which made for a bit of slow going. Pretty cooked near the end after two days of good distance.

Up to Norvan falls and back on a gorgeous day with my brother-in-law.
