Walking 7:00:00 [1]

Hillier today - Dale Head, Robinson, Buttermere, and back of Fleetwith Pike to Honister and down.
Walked with Gemma - Heather, Michelle and Lizzie with us for parts (they did some extra hills) - steady pace but I found the last hill in the heat a bit of a drag.
Another awesome day, time doesn’t include a one hour stop for lunch in Buttermere (we’ll it is the cafe course…). Even did all the controls today :-)

GL3D - first day. Slightly shortened cafe course with Heather - we missed out second control to head up to higher ridge earlier. Beautiful day, with a few stops. Very happy to find an ice lolly in watandleth.
Are regularly and pretty well and feet fine for this day. Faffed a lot at overnight camp.
Carried just under 1l water, filled up and drank another half litre, could have had a bit more as was hot but ok for the day.

To Chester le Street train station. Didn’t take as long as I thought. Got train into work from there - figured it was easiest way to get some exercise into the day and test out different commute options.
Office felt very COVID safe as I was the only person in there… planning to go in most Wednesdays from now on, think more people planning to come in from September which will be nice.

Home again. Which I think was slightly uphill all the way.

Nice out early - Deerness valley to Esh Winning, Cornsay Colliery, Lanchester, bike path to Langley Park then back in via Witton Gilbert and Sacriston.

Short stomp around Aykley Heads. Toe sore just walking but nice to get some air. Not sure this quite counts as training but I did walk super fast as usual so I’ll take it. Desperate times, desperate measures! Followed by 10 mins of yoga with rob which I can’t bring myself to log.
