Paddle 2:30:00 [3]
shoes: Endorfinn Ski

Sat and Sun grouped together as they were pretty much the same and I can't be assed typing it twice.
Paddle on the Estuary from Herron point. Saturday I had a nice paddle with a group of 4 Dolphins, Sunday was quite windy with the easterly looked for Dolphins but none to be seen. Lot's of fun with the family on the beach both day's.

Paddle 1:35:00 [3] 14.75 km (6:26 / km)
shoes: Endorfinn Ski

Afternoon paddle from Banks reserve up to Herrisson Island, twice around Herrisson then back to Maylands golf course and back to Banks.
Nice conditions with only a few boats around. It's good to paddle somewhere different every now and again. Had a couple of dolphins along for the ride near the causeway on the second lap.

Note

Second treatment of acupuncture today.
It seems to have freed up my quads as they are able to contract and release fully today whereas previously they seemed to only operate in the middle third in a half assed effort compared to my right quads.
I assume that the acupuncture is improving the circulation and possibly releasing some long term trigger points....

Either that or it's the Monkey nuts/Panda juice allowing my qi to flow properly through my meridians.

Note

After hearing about some good results I had acupuncture on my knee today.
I haven't given up on all the stretching/strengthening but it is just progressing so slowly and anything that will speed things up is worth a try.
I'm not interested in the explanations of how it works, just that many studies have shown it does work (for some).
So after about 35 mins of 8 needles in my knee (6 attached to electrodes), a heat light over my knee, and then rubbed with a lotion that may or may not have been made from ground up monkey nuts and panda juice, how did it feel???
It actually felt a bit better, I will wait until after a couple more visits to give a definitive answer but it felt good enough to warrant another go.
