Note
I got a call from Jacko on my way home from work telling me he was bailing on our planned trail run tonight due to a tickle in his throat.
That put me in a bit of dilemma.
I can't really tell him to toughen up instead of hiding under his blanky unless I go out for a run myself, however as he was bailing, the temperature was dropping, the light was fading, the wind was picking up and the rain was coming down. So it would seem a bit childish to go out for a run just in order to ask Jacko if he was comfy under his blanky.
The wise thing to do would be to a windtrainer session instead...

Ok, I got soaked, it was windy, dark and cold.
I managed to finish in the fading light so I didn't need to take my lights.
Almost finished flat on my face near the finish when I tripped over a rock.
But it was worth it because now I can say...
Man up Jacko, hope you were nice and warm under your BLANKY.
Note
Hmmm,
not quite as satisfying as I was hoping it would be.
He probably was pretty comfy and warm staying at home under his blanky.
Actually I'm quite jealous as I can't seem to find my blanky now and I'm cold and hungry.
