Paddle 2:11:00 [3] 11.0 km (11:55 / km)

Team Ranga doubles paddle training.
Paddled upstream from Amiens until Jolt broke his paddle just short of Bells.
I swapped with Liz to be with Jolt and even things up a bit as he was limited to paddling on one side (still gets plenty of power and control with his mighty J stroke). We paddled past Amiens for a bit then turned back, this last bit required a decent effort as it was narrow/twisting and had some good flow to paddle against. As Liz was in the kayak with Jacko she got to experience the seal entry down the steep grass bank. Not enough weight in the front to go under as far but they didn't fall in so it was a success.
A good session, learnt that paddling upstream is better with a little finesse and not just relying on brute force to get you through the faster flowing sections.

Slow trail run with Jacko. Legs not feeling the best tonight and as Jacko was struggling as well we thought it was best not to run the full distance tonight.
