Note
(injured)

My headache hasn't gone yet, sometimes severe but mostly just a constant dull ache controlled with the drugs.
I am still a bit unsteady when walking, the last few days I have just been sitting or lying down drifting off to sleep but never for more than an hour at a time. The swelling around the cuts has mostly gone, I have an appt at the GP tomorrow to get the staples out (that's going to hurt).
Hopefully I'll feel better in the next day or so, fingers crossed I'll be back out to do some training next weekend.

Walk 30:00 [0]
(injured) shoes: Keen Ridgeline

I was allowed out for an evening stroll, under supervision of Deb and the girls.
Felt good to get some fresh air. Kept it nice and easy until a few meters from home I spotted "the cat" and foolishly decided to chase it away. I got about 5 meters before becoming unbalanced and nearly falling sideways.

As I have no memory of what actually caused me to fall I haven't ruled out the cat coming back for revenge and knocking me out with a hammer. Also high on the list of possible causes are zombies and the most likely cause is a curse of team Ranga, I think we may have defiled some ancient burial ground during the Caffeinated race. With Jacko down, then myself, Liz and Joel will have to be very careful.

Note
(injured)

I have a headache.
I seem to be a bit more conscious today, I was very forgetful and dazed yesterday.
I am also starting to get a very sore neck, probably partly from the whiplash effect when my head hit the ground and partly from trying to keep the pressure off the wound when resting.

Note
(injured)

Seems I'm more likely to be injured during the night lately.
After a pretty busy day yesterday I went to the physio to get some more torture on my legs, plenty of painful dry needling. I had a discussion with the physio about my right achilles trouble and we decided to try a cortisone injection in the tendon sheath. I managed to get an appointment straight away and had the injection which seemed quite tame after the pain of the dry needling. The doc also had a look at the cat cut on my left foot and was not too happy with how it looked. I got a tetanus injection and fancy dressing put on and went home to rest.
I felt pretty tired and sore at home and had an early night. Sometime just after 5 this morning I got up to get some drugs as the LA had worn off and my foot was quite sore. The last thing I remember doing was looking in the pantry for some panadol... then answering questions from the ambos.
I collapsed in the kitchen falling straight back onto my head, Deb came in to find me lying on the floor in a pool of blood.
I have spent the day at Joondalup emergency dept with a splitting headache.
After all the required tests I was allowed to leave with orders to rest for the next 4-5 days and go to my GP on monday to get the dozen or so staples removed from two large cuts in the back of my head.

Strength /Core 25:00 [3]

Cut on foot still very sore so push ups and plank done with feet on a ball to stop flexing the ball of the foot. Made them harder to do so I may as well keep doing them that way when the foot is better.
