Run (Trail) 55:12 [3] 10.0 km (5:31 / km) +97m 5:16 / km
shoes: Salomon Crossmax

Headed out for an easy run mid afternoon, while it was quite warm.
I ran from the oval at Ridgewood, then down the Neerabup trail south of Hester Ave & return.
I kept the pace pretty easy as I don't want to aggravate my right achilles, which has had a couple of mornings feeling a bit tight since my faster run earlier in the week. Luckily it hasn't bothered me while running at all.

Run 31:51 [3] 6.06 km (5:15 / km)
shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS

Easy run on the coastal path.
Very windy again tonight.

Massage 1:00:00 [0]

Needed this one, lower back a little tight since last long run.
I'll back off the distance this weekend and then 2 pretty solid weeks before committing to the 6inch, although I'm pretty sure I'll do it. As long as no injuries pop up.

Windtrainer intervals 1:15:00 [4]
shoes: Giant TCR C2

Sufferrfest: Hell Hath No Fury.
My quads were still sore from last nights run and with lots of standing in this one I was really suffering by the end.

Run 42:37 [4] 9.01 km (4:44 / km) +15m 4:41 / km
shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS

Woops, I didn't mean to run this fast tonight. Last time I ran under 5min/k pace I ended up aggravating my achilles for a few days. So it's anti-inflams & Ice(cream) and hope it's all good in the morning.
I started out feeling pretty good but running straight into a strong 20knot Southerly down the coast from Jindalee to Mindarie. I put in a decent effort into the wind and after turning around eased off a bit, but the strong wind in my back meant the pace actually increased on the return leg.
I kicked myself when I saw the pace at the finish, even though I felt good at the end of the run it's not worth the risk & last time after the achilles flared up I told myself no more faster runs. The trouble is as my running is improving the faster runs don't feel as fast anymore so I may have to set up the garmin to help keep the pace down a bit.
