Run (Long) 2:18:59 [3] 25.0 km (5:34 / km) +250m 5:18 / km
shoes: Hoka One One Stinson Evo's

Early morning run from home. Started along Connolly and through Ridgewood to get a little extra climbing, then Hester Ave to the Yabba dabba doo trail which I took to Burns Beach Rd before returning the same route.
Was quite nice when I started just before 6 but felt a little muggy during parts of the run. I took quite a few short walking breaks during the run. On the return leg I had a Gu that turned out to be bad (lumpy) so I spat it out but that left me with no desire to have the other Gu I had taken with me. At about 18km I stopped for a chat with a couple of mountain bikers who where trying to figure out which options they had to get back to Joondalup. Getting started again I noticed the pain in my hip had started but it went away after another km or 2. I hit the wall at around 22km but then forced down my other Gu and felt ok again for the last couple of km's.
Ice bath and stretching after the run and so far the hip is feeling ok.

Note

Planned early morning looong run put off for a day as right hip has flared up a little since thursdays run so I'll give it a little more rest.

Run 1:00:05 [3] 11.5 km (5:13 / km) +61m 5:05 / km
shoes: Hoka One One Stinson Evo's

Run with Jacko from his place, down to Whitfords ave to see if a new path I had noticed not far from Wanneroo rd went through to join up with the path at Ocean Reef rd. It didn't, but once the path ended and we decided to keep going weren't going to let a little stinking swamp water stop us from completing the planned loop.
A nice easy paced effort today, slowing down a couple of times when we noticed the pace speeding up a bit. Legs felt pretty fresh at the end but the shoes will need a good clean now.
Good times.

Run (Trail) 42:11 [3] 8.11 km (5:12 / km) +91m 4:56 / km
shoes: Hoka One One Stinson Evo's

Evening run on the Yabba dabba doo trail south of Hester ave.
Easy run, trying to keep the pace consistent throughout except for the last 400m which I ran sub FCP.
Legs felt pretty good today.
