I had a short window of time to run today and it happened to be during some pouring rain and strong winds.
I went to Kings park and did some reps of the Kokoda trail. My legs were still a bit tired from Saturdays run so it didn't take long for them to turn to jelly.

Run (Trail) 4:53:11 intensity: (14:19 @1) + (1:32:30 @2) + (2:57:54 @3) + (8:28 @4) 40.93 km (7:10 / km) +1159m 6:16 / km

I had wanted to run longer today but had to be home by around 11:30 so decided to start the run in the dark. Unfortunately I was about 20 minutes later starting than I had planned & the visibility at times during the first couple of hours was limited to a couple of steps in front of me due to the mist. It was very similar to the Wellington Dam paddle leg in the Caffeinated AR a few years ago with the ayups just reflecting light off the mist. This made a lot of the outward section very slow going & I even managed to miss a few markers & run a couple of small loops.
I left the Camel farm around 4:50am & had originally planned to run 25km before turning back but turned at around 19km then added a little past the Camel farm at the end as I had a little time up my sleeve. Once the sun was up I enjoyed the run a lot more & will try & get out again soon & extend the run or leave from Mundaring weir to see more of the trail.
Legs felt ok at the end.
Good times.

Trail run with Jacko & his dog Zara.
We had to stop a few times to call Zara back who had some fun chasing Kangaroos tonight, the last stop she was gone for a while & we had to go searching for her. I missed a couple of km's on the GPS when paused during one of the stops & forgot to start it again.
When we got back to the cars we noticed a RBT bus at the top of the hill & a few cars turning around, just before hoping into the cars a cop car pulled up with lights flashing thinking we had stopped to avoid it. Even though it was clear we had been running they tested us anyway, then the driver asked who owned the xtrail... he had run the plates & I was a couple of days over paying the licence & insurance. Luckily he let me off & told me to go home & pay it straight away.
Distance about 12.4km.
