Jog with dad to the start and then drills on the pitches.

Jog with dad after towards the start and through the urban bit and back to the school.

Orienteering race 47:55 [5] 6.2 km (7:44 / km)

Yay i'm back:).
First part urban and second part wooded. Really enjoyed it but felt like I couldn't run hard enough, prob due to having been ill, felt like I should have had another gear. No huge mistakes, a few smaller ones. Got caught out with a path marked at going through on the map having a fence across it.
Something went right though as won W20 and was 3rd on the blue behind two M50s one of which was my dad by 8seconds.....gutted!

Strength and Conditioning 45:00 [3]

Yay felt good enough to go to the gym. Didn't run there though.
Did the usual warm up and then the strength maint. Pull ups and SLDL.
Stretched and rolled out.

rowing 20:00 [2] 2.7 km (7:24 / km)
shoes: Asics GT-2150

The session was 30secs on 30secs off x4 with one min between sets. Intervals wasn't really what I had intended doing since still not 100% and Steve agreed so I just went up with the group and slowly rowed. Felt ok:).

Putting this up now to stop me training!!
Slight tickle since Friday but hadn't bothered me, then ears started hurting on Sunday/Monday but still felt ok to run. Monday evening hit me and now in chest - barking like a dog, stopping before I make it worse. Annoying but haven't been ill since Sept 2010 so was going to hit me sometime. Hopefully by doing the sensible thing it will be shortlived.
No training = grumpy Kirstin, what am I supposed to do?!
