running (slow trail) 2:45:00 [2]
(injured)

Ready to go up the Peak, but the top was closed d/t winds. So ran at Elk Park for about an hour, then the top opened up, and we drove up. Ran down and back up once (to past the 2 mile sign just a bit). I figured John Genet would know how hard to run at this stage in the game, so I just followed him. It seemed to me like he took it pretty easy, so I hope I didn't underdo it. The good thing was that my ankle and heel did well, since the effort wasn't huge. Total time at elevation was probably around 4 hours with driving, looking for Rick, etc.

yoga (at home) 45:00 [2]
(injured)

My ankle was sore, so I didn't want to push too much. Just did a moderate workout at home.

running (trail) 1:45:00 [4]
(injured)

Ran up Barr trail. With the hole in my shoe it was a bit awkward, but I got a good workout... until I rolled my ankle on a rock. It really felt like I turned it hard, so took it easy on the way down.

running (treadmill/ recovery) 45:00 [3] 5.2 mi (8:39 / mi)
(injured)

Just took it easy on the treadmill. Hole in the shoe still working pretty well.

running (treadmill) 1:45:00 [3] 12.07 mi (8:42 / mi)
(injured)

Matt cut out the back of an old pair of shoes, so I gave them a try. It was a bit uncomfortable, but not too bad so I kept going, and YEA!- no blood! (I just did a little incline, 2% and down).

hiking (treadmill) 50:00 [2] 3.2 mi (15:37 / mi)
(injured)

As I was unable to wear regular shoes, I wore flip flops and did a mock hike on the treadmill, starting at a 10% grade and going up to 12%. I began at 3.5 mph, and moved up to 3.7 quickly, then slowly on up to 4 mph (that is fast in flip flops). :)
