Gentle jogette on meadow to test out knee. Could feel it but not really painful and did not appear to deteriorate during run.

Springtime in Shropshire day 3! Corndon Hill. Another day of good weather and amazing views. 3 out of 3 wins for me on W40S this weekend, fwiw.

Yesterday after the event we went to Montgomery Castle and walking down v steep hill afterwards, my right knee became really painful. Still extremely painful whenever going downhill today.

Could barely drag my poor legs round white course after my run, certainly no chance of keeping up with Danny!

Springtime in Shropshire day 2. Stapeley and Rorrington. Only one really bad mistake today... Lovely open hillside. And lovely weather too despite grim forecast.

Springtime in Shropshire day 1. Brampton Bryan. Amazingly sunny day, nice course though map a bit confusing in places... Made a couple of bad errors.

Boys had free tennis coaching session at Hinksey so I had a lovely run back from there, cutting across to Botley Road on a nice cycle track, then back via Binsey Lane and along the river.

Parks green course, 4.3km. Ran exactly 5k. 1 min faff on random bushes but otherwise I am afraid this is just about as fast as I can run!

Nice run along river and back via nature reserve. Put my foot in a rabbit hole and fell after 20 mins or so but ankle survived thankfully.

Gloucester city race. I imagine I will be very well down but I am inordinately proud of myself for keeping going for the whole course. Lovely course around Gloucester docks and city centre.

Triple Gloucester day 1. Green course. V enjoyable but rather gruelling - steep and tough. Whizzed round the white course with the little chaps after.
