Orienteering race (Red-mid atlantic) 1:00:04 [3] *** 7.9 km (7:36 / km) +330m 6:17 / km
shoes: O: Falcons 2008

The climb felt much worse than 300. Once I got to control 2 I did ok. Screwed up one by going the wrong way out of the start, then hit an unmapped feature which led me to correct when no correction was needed. Woods were beautiful. A runners course but I was just to tired with all the climb.

Orienteering (control pickup) 20:28 [2] 1.5 mi (13:39 / mi)
shoes: O: Falcons 2008

Mostly trail jog to pick up controls. I was really tired.

Orienteering race (relay- anchor) 18:19 [5] 2.7 km (6:47 / km) +100m 5:43 / km
shoes: O: Falcons 2008

Nadim handed off to me in first place with 2 & 3 right behind. I had to race Greg Alshede and Vadim. Both faster than me, especially given my current shape. I led the way to first control (I knew where it was based on the code). Raced to the second control but Greg passed me. Vadim passed me on the way to the 3rd. Greg messed up at 3 so we caught back up to him. Greg and Vadim were running faster than me so I took a more direct (lots more climb route) to try to stay with them. I didn't loose any ground or gain any. i caught back up (almost on a downhill). Vadim and I lost time at the 2nd to last control due to map error. Vadim ran away from me. I tried to just keep moving. So so tired.
