Not feeling well on this swim at all, head very congested having hard time breathing plus back was sore and body just did not feel good. Oh well part of training but I think I'm getting a little burnt out.

Long Bike

Well today I rode with Art & Brad and we started at Shady Canyon and headed down Sand Canyon to Live Oak out to Cooks Corner to Silverado Canyon. We then headed down Santiago Canyon to Jamboree, then down to Portola did a couple repeats, Brad then took-off so Art and I rode down bike trail to Back Bay up to Newport Coast going up Ridge Park, then back down back through Back Bay on bike trail to Portola all the way to Sand Canyon and up to Shady Canyon. Art says this ride was more than 6K of climbing so I'm happy with it but I felt like I was going to run out of gas a lot on this ride as this cold really sucks.

Long Run

Well the run was tough all the way from the beginning to the end. I stopped at the 1 hour mark to drink some coconut water and then at the 2 hour mark to drink some more, I then stopped at 2:20:00 to drink some more and then finished the last 20 minutes. My legs felt little tired at the beginning of the run but then loosened at the 1 hour mark, but around 1:45:00 until the end they felt tired and my entire body began to get weak from this sinus infection. I did not think I was going to make it as I kept looking at the time to often, but somehow I made it. I feel very tired now and will try and rest up for Sunday's big workout.

Speed Run

10 Minute warmup, 4x100 pickups w/ 100 jog recovery. 400 easy. 8x600, recovery half the time it took you to do the interval. 2 minutes easy jog. 4x100 fast on infield grass with 10 sec rest. Warm down 10 minutes.

Well the run went good, I have a head cold and very stuffy nose. My legs were tired at the beginning of the run and then loosend after the first interval.

Moderate Run

Well even though my back is bothering me I ran very good today. The first 15-20 minutes the legs felt heavy then began to loosen. I'm very happy with the HR being lower about 5 "points" avg.

Moderate Bike

Well the bike went ok, my legs felt little better but my lower back is still bothering me, but not as bad. I stopped taking Ibuprofen because it was making me constipated. My right wrist is very sore and hurt the entire ride, specially shifting from the accident on Sunday. I need to work on my pedal strokes because I'm mashing to much and I feel it in my ankles.
