Orienteering 1:30:00 [2]

Vampire-O!! OO-the spookyness! The dark misty night, and zombies looking for brains. We had fun, I think AC got into it this time, it was not too intense for her, and i think she had fun. I did most of the course with her. and trying to catch brains.
:)
picked up controls after, mostly just walking.

Again 1L and MJ leading and doing all the work! !! Great fun with this event! !!

Got locked out of my apartment but accomplished a burglary style entrance through the window. yeeeee, but did not dare to go back out to the Halloween party, in case i would not make it back in again.
I am now happily in possession of a new set of keys.

PHYSIO Streak! 4days !!!!
- I read about streak runners and so I decided to streak physio.

Mr Physio told me, I really have to work on strength, i am good at the balance but strength is lagging.
.. new focus has to be on the dreaded calf raises, i was avoiding them for a reason :) here it goes.

1min balence on bosu - eyes closed (very easy)
Squats on bosu ball
30x - eyes closed with dumbells bicep curls

Side-Front-Side Jump Series Repeat x5: This was stepped up
it was actually hard --- oof I was tired, and wanted to dance more than jump.
10 jumps (side-middle-side) on BAD leg
10 jumps (side-middle-side) good led

30X - 2 legged squat jumps on Bosu - jumping from farther away, told to concentrate on stability

BAD legged lunges 30x on balence plate - eyes closed (no dumbells - just in case for knee)

30x one BAD-legged jump on bosu with land position
30x one good legged jump on bosu with land position

Arabesque on bosu - getting easier 8 sec x 5 - each leg

Calf raise, should be done till exhaustion (maxed out)
30x ' 45/55 - weight bearing
30x ' 45/55 - weight bearing
30x ' 45/55 - weight bearing
30x ' weight all on bad leg - as much as a calf raise i can muster
30x ' put weight on pointed toe, and try and slow descent
30x toes out 40/60 - weight bearing
30x soleus with elastic band
30x soleus with elastic band
30x soleus with elastic band +5pds dumbell on knee
30x ' 45/55 - weight bearing
30x toes out 40/60 - weight bearing

again, not sure of definition of maxed out. But it is tired. :)
Body is a little sluggish, completely normal and expected. Feeling much better though.

went out for run/walk with BV, very slow and "mollo" I almost called it a walk, but we did alternate between running and walking.

Physio 50:00 [3]

PHYSIO Streak! -2days (haha)
- I read about streak runners and so I decided to keep track of my streaking physio abilities.

2min balence on bosu - eyes closed (very easy)

Squats on bosu ball
30x - eyes closed (much more wobbly than before - shoes on adds challenge of indirect contact)
15x - eyes closed with dumbells bicep curls
15x - eyes closed with shoulder abduction
10X - eyes open triceps

Jump Series Repeat x5: I think i am slightly better on this.
Still afraid of it.
10 jumps back and forth 2legs
10 jumps back and forth BAD leg (still hard and still looks funny)
10 jumps back and forth good led

30X - 2 legged squat jumps on Bosu - good at this jumping from farther away, but still scares me

BAD legged Lunges -
30x lunges on bosu with dumbells - eyes open
30x lunge on balence plate - eyes closed (no dumbells - just in case for knee)

30x one BAD-leg jump on bosu with land position
30x one good-leg jumps on bosu with land position - these work my hips, haha

Arabesque on bosu (was slightly more elegant)
8 sec x 5 - each leg

Calf raise - full weight bearing trying for 50/50
30x ` only 45/55 - weight bearing, not yet 50/50 but is it just me being afraid?
30x ` only 45/55 - weight bearing !
15x toes out 30/70 - weight bearing

Feel better - I have a long way to go, but patience, and consistency. I want to go back to being pre-vacation consistant. Knees felt fine maybe I was just rusty yesterday. Did watch form more though.

Left knee acting up - just did not want to push it, i am wondering about my form...? is it bad enough that i can't do proper squats and lunges?

Squats on bosu ball - knees acting up - felt them both WEIRD!
30x - eyes closed (much more wobbly than before)

I think i am depressed today about it all. Feel shitty and muscle is set so high up in the leg. Really wondering if I should have gotten surgery, because of the size of the gap. I feel shitty about it, and will never be able to tell. No point in crying about it now, must do the best i can with what i have, but, it is incredibly weak (still). I am fighting mentally not to give up somehow (i think i had, and 3 weeks went by).
It was hurting. It feels okay now. I just feel mentally shitty about it.

Running 1:01:18 [3] 7.0 km (8:45 / km)

slow run/walk 1min on/ 1min off. Did not feel pain, one sharp spike but nothing else. ran on grass as much as i could which brought me through the very scenic and philosophical cemetery until it closed.
pokadot socks lifted spirits. and makes random people friendly.

Walking 55:00 [2] 3.9 km (14:06 / km)

stopped and got eggs on the way home. Listening to AudioBooks! coolest invention.
