Did I hear that Arcteryx might just have a shoe similar to the wider Salomon Ultra coming out? A little bird might have hinted.

Looks good, from the one image. How good is the sole in mud? From the sides the lugs look fairly small.

They're 3.5 mm deep. They went through a month of testing in Tasmania and performed really well. The guy put 800k on them in all sorts of conditions, including the depth of mud you'd choose gaiters for.
