Discussion: Route to 9?

I went straightish, then when low along the less steep white woods. Did you take the trail up, then drop down to 9? Charlie thought that was a better route, and the 1.5 minutes you took out of me there (vs. generally a bit closer results) might be route choice?

Took the trail. My quick route shows pretty "green" speed most of the way (4-7min pace). I guess that one worked out for me.


It was 4 that cost me. Went right up to 40m from the checkpoint and for some reason convinced myself I made a parallel error and was one saddle over and gave up about 10 seconds too early. Probably lost about 3 minutes there. Woulda been a pretty clean run otherwise.
