You should run the US Team (+ groupies) unofficial team trial on Sunday!

I'd love to if I had company, not that I'm aware of any group taking a shot at that in the DC area on Sunday, but combining it with my course setter duties at Rosaryville would be hard. And probably pointless unless I ran first thing Saturday, before the several hours of biking out there, placing controls and mapping new interpretive walks for the benefit of the park managers. Similarily, I'd consider doing a 5K in June when the US Team does if it wasn't scheduled the same day as the QOC annual meeting. . I'm hoping Eddie and Ken will make shift to run their 5K some other day and still show up. Or we could all agree to run it together that morning before the orienteering.

I'm sure the exact date isn't that important - I ran my mile time trial from March 2009 about a week late. It may be that time trials do not readily integrate into your current routine, but it would be great if you could run it at some point.

The date may not matter much but I think I'd have trouble motivating myself to do a 3 or 5K time trial on a track alone. Fortunately, there are road races and track meets when the weather permits.

It would be cool if Ken and Eddie and anyone else in the area wanted to get together to run a time trial though. I'lll have to raise the possiblity with them.
