Sorry to hear about him :( I am on the fence about TNT tonight too...got lots to do and may just run on my own after work rather than loiter around before 6 pm. Not sure what your Thursday plans are but perhaps we could do something then?

Mrs. Tiny:
Not a fun Thursday night - Friday for me last week - emerg vet until about 1:30am, then off to my vet at 7:30am who sent me directly onto Guelph. Pretty lucky the best veterinary unit in Ontario is so close! Very exhausting - not much sleep, lots of tears. ;) Much better now.

Yeah, I'll see how the call from the vet and helping with wedding decorations / getting my photography gear all sorted out and dictate my evening tonight. I want to get out for a run tonight, but I might just have to work it into the schedule around other things rather than the other way around.

As for this Thursday - that sounds great! I need to plan a few activities to keep me active and motivated! :) Bike? Run?

I'm just going to run at Bechtel after work so I can get home and try to make sense of my piles of gear and clothes :) I'll send you an email about Thursday! Hope Leo is okay!

Did he have surgery on his leg?

Yes - surgery on his leg went ahead on Monday - they ended up needing to put a temporary catheterized pace maker in, but otherwise the surgery and then the weaning him off the pacemaker went well. He came home yesterday early evening and seems to be doing ok. He's a little out of sorts, but appreciates some loves between times that he's mad at me for sticking pills down his throat, so I'll take that as a good sign. ;)

Otherwise, he has some pain meds and antibiotics for the next 5 days, then a follow-up visit or two to make sure all is well with the leg. He looks pretty hilarious (and sad) with all the shaved body parts - leg, side patches, front leg patches and neck.

This week is just so nutty with Shirl's wedding (and helping out with that) Leo and the vet and work. Training will come back into focus soon. Just a bit tough to fit it all in.

So glad to hear that Leo is doing OK! Both our pooches have had surgery and came home looking undignified after all the shaving. I really wish we could explain these things to our pets. All the best with your busy week.

Happy to hear Leo is back at home. You're a FIT girl, you'll be fine with a week off :)
