It must be extra frustrating when you think of how hard you try as RD to make things easy for your own racers. Given that the XPD organization is taking over the AR World Series, you'd think they would have a better understanding of international racing.

I'm with you on this one too! Why not allow all teh boxes we already have?! I'm not happy throwing money at carboard and plastic when I already have plenty of both! Not only all the size and model restrictions but on top of that we have to make the bike boxes waterproof on our own. A friend of mine raced in a previous XPD and the bike box just held up for the week and that was in a much drier area than Tasmania.

yes, but in spite of all that at least they are providing shuttles from the closest significant airport for ONE WHOLE AFTERNOON... four days prior to the start.

This does seem ridiculous. Spain had it's pains and I know the bins sucked, but at least they provided them to all the teams. As a potential volunteer I'm getting turned off too. Oh well, you guys will have great time anyway.
