Discussion: Short coursed

Good report and recap! We missed the trek cutoff by about 15 minutes as well and were disappointed although it sounds like it was difficult for a number of teams so would have really made it tight getting back for the 6:09 finish! I thought the FAR which started at the Cleveland House 18 months ago was muddy but this one might take the cake. Too bad about the delays afterwards. I feel bad being too critical about it but alot of us felt it could have been handled better.

Agreed, our team was also just happy to finish in the 8 hour limit! You should see my mud pic from the first bike section, it quite the endo - I will post the pic soon.
As the days go by my disappointment over the post-race delays are subsiding and I understand that there must be a large amount of work going into getting the data straight.

I saw a few great mud pics from that one area. If one of them was you, that was great..well assuming you didn't get hurt.
