Now I feel bad posting that. I am sorry for your loss.

Dolf:
I have received some unconfirmed reports of radar images showing a small shiny object approximately 3-5cm in length in the search area.

The NSA say it's in French Guiana, but they won't say how they know that.

Dolf:
Th NSA is really NiSsAn & they don't want me to find the key so they can charge me a fortune for a replacement.

Similar thing happened to me a couple of months ago. Wil and I was running the Kala to Mundaring Weir loop, stopped halfway at the Weir to sit down and have something to eat. 5 mins later, I get up ready to run and see a key lying about 3m away... my car key that had fallen out of my camelbak when I took my food out! A bit of luck there, adding another 30k to go back to look for it would have made it an interesting outing.

I lost mine out of my pocket once when Tooms convinced me to try his Mako 6 ('nah nah, it's really stable!') at Mathilda Bay. Paddled a few hundred metres, fell out multiple times, somewhere along the way my bagged key fell out of my pocket and went walkies.

We paddled back across, somehow found it washed up on the bank of the river. Still works. :)

I dropped mine putting out controls for MTBO a few years back but problem was it was on a cross-country excursion. Took a while to find.

Since you're all so good at finding keys, have a good look at my gps trace & get out there & find mine... please.

Tooms:
I dropped mine on Floreat Beach one evening between the groyne and the clubhouse on hard sand. I never found it as small black keys blend in very nicely with clumps of seaweed. Only time I've actually lost a car key over the years though - the other times were a case of secreting the key at the end of the warm up into a hidden location (no, not there Dolf) and then forgetting to pick it up again until arriving within a few metres of the car park!

I recall you found my lost key after a paddle once Tooms (no, not that kind).
I reneged on my "I could kiss you" comment after you found it though.

Tooms:
Sorry, sometimes I can't hide my feelings.

Dolf:
So you hide keys.

Typical man.

Sounds like Juffy's been hurt before.

Was it that Wally80 chap?
Apr 2, 2014 12:14 PM #
Juffy:
It was, but I was more hurt by his refusal to renege than the other way around.
Apr 2, 2014 12:30 PM #
Wally80:
Oh, you loved it.

Juffy:

Any chance of you and my batteries being in the city tomorrow? :)
Apr 3, 2014 4:53 AM #
Wally80:
Tomorrow being Thursday? um yes, I am. but I don't have the lights. Do you need them urgently? I can run them up to you this weekend if so.

Juffy:
Not urgent-urgent, but it's getting darker earlier, and I use my ayups for commuter cycling. Happy to collect them from you in the city at some point, rather than force you to drive to the boonies.
