Trail Running 25:00 [3] 2.7 mi (9:16 / mi)
shoes: Scott ERide Grip

Went for another test run for my hip. The pace of the run was at a jog. Hip was fine during the run but later that night I was laying on my side and one of the muscles in my butt was super sore. I think this is due to the way I was sitting and that those muscles are still a little out of sync. Easing in should help redevelop those muscles.

I ran on some trails new to my hometown. There is another 2.5 mile out and back trail that I want to try next time. The town is buying a lot of farms to increase park land and the parkland now backs up to my parents farm. Hoping they continue developing the trail network.

I took both Baxter and my parents Golden with me this run. First time running with two dogs. Let them run off leash a little and then put them on the leash and they ran well together.

Road Running 15:00 [3] 1.7 mi (8:49 / mi)
shoes: Asics 2110

Was able to leave work a little early since I was pretty much the last one there. Took the opportunity to try a short run.

First run since my fall. My hamstring definitely is still tight. At a slow jog it isn't really noticeable but when I started to increase my stride I could feel it pulling. Baxter came along and was very distracted as we passed a lot of dogs. It's been a long time since he's gone running as well and may have to work on his discipline again.

I heated before the run. I did not get to stretch at all since I was in a hurry to get on the road to drive to NJ for Christmas.

Commuting 22:00 [3] 6.6 mi (18.0 mph)
shoes: Answer Impact MTB

First physical activity aside from frisbee throwing in over 3 weeks. My injury basically served as an off season although I did miss 3 nearby Omeets.

Anyway, the hammie and hip still feel a little tight but I felt no pain or tightness while riding.

Today was just a short commute from Springfield to Belvoir so I could drop the car off for service.

Commuting 20:00 [3] 6.0 mi (18.0 mph)
shoes: Answer Impact MTB

Commute back to the car.

Leg still felt good. Was focusing a little more on using my quad since the hamstring is the tight muscle.
