Bookhunt on VT Campus
I've done 2 and put on 2. This is maybe the 8th one that I can think of. I raced with Mark and Laura as Oldies But Goodies. Temps were just below 30 but the wind was much calmer than the past couple days. Didn't need a ton of clothing and didn't get cold.

We were knocking them out quickly early on. Decided not to ride the 6 mile roundtrip to one book on the Huck even though we knew it would be worth a ton of points. When we got to the Drillfield I noticed there were unmarked books. We found one set of gargoyles and looked for some others without any luck. Then continued looking for books. We searched for a while (11 min) at the retention pond without any luck. Turns out I saw the bag the book was in but didn't think that was it. Had trouble with one more book on the way to the finish. Didn't have time to get the last marked book on Alumni Mall before the cutoff.

Turns out we lost because I accidentally skipped one book that happened to have the most pages. Was happy to see Chris and his son Noah win instead though. Plus our prize was a big bag of snickers.
