Nut's first moving water paddle. New River from McCoy Falls to New River Park. The current was strong. Water is still up. A few ledges early on but we navigated around all of them on river right. Smooth flow after that. Tons of people at the river.

Exploring more of the adjacent Mtn Lake Property w/Zitch/Skip/Nut. Looking for trails marked on old US Topo maps and 4x4 tracks on aerial photographs. found mostly faded 4x4 tracks that didn't really do much. The woods are pretty clear which meant walking on the faded tracks wasn't much different than walking through the woods. Mostly walked with some running here and there when I had a decent path.
