BNC. Many mistakes but no real horrors. #3 decided to avoid the predictably easy route to the left and instead went right to the linear bramble hedge thing. Much faffage. Rest of the course hinged on knowing when to navigate by paths (when they were alone) and when ignore them (when the paths ganged up in to little clusters). Triumph of hope over experience several times about going straight through brambles.
