Incredibly strong headwind on my way into the bay. Short portage to explore a pond on another side of a road. Nice paddle with the wind on the way back.

The last few days I have been swamped with marking exam papers, so I am glad the weekend came. Up in the hilly terrain of Haliburton again. Cooler temps were nice and perfectly clear blue skies. Windy conditions kept all the black flies away, amazing. Aimed for 2hrs+ and got there. Slowly building up.
