Road Bike (Trainer) 43:00 [3] 8.5 mi (11.9 mph)
ahr:119 max:132

It was sunny out, but cold, so I just rode the trainer and watched a couple episodes of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Just getting time in the saddle for now and building up the activity time. Not a lot of effort, but at least a start.

Run (Run-Walk) 39:17 [3] 3.0 mi (13:06 / mi)
ahr:141 max:161

Hi everyone. My name is Hilary and I'm finally looking to get back at it after 4 months of recovering from overtraining. Get back at it plan is:
2 rest days/week
1 speed walk
2 run-walk
2 bike
Plus at least 1 yoga class (maybe 2) probably more slow-flow type.

Last week, I was able to do one run-walk of 3 minutes walking, 3 minutes running with no hamstring soreness afterward and I felt good, but out of shape.

Today, I did 3 minutes of walking, 4 minutes of running, alternating for 3 miles. I'm finally starting to WANT to run again. I guess I was not only physically burned out but mentally as well. I'm looking forward to getting back in shape and building up SLOWLY. I'll be starting with workouts of no more than 30-40 minutes at a time. I haven't been completely sedentary over the past few months- I've been walking (mostly leisurely, but some for speed) and doing yoga twice a week, so I think this is a good plan. There will be lots of listening to the body and using HRV to make sure I'm not going off the cliff again.
