Biked out the rail trail to the garbage dump. Found some interesting two tracks that I bumped around on and then up and down the hill a couple times. Did a turtle rescue, met with some suicidal chimpmunks and also saw a groundhog. And a lawyer I know through work.

Met up with JustMe and Outdoors Mama in Essex County, Canada to do some recon for SCAR. Figuring out the logistics of 3 in a boat. Ah! It was fun and a little crazy. Seemed we pulled to the left...my vote is the paddling style, some others ;) said it was wind. And as some of us know, I can be sensitive about my sterning lines. :) I have never hit so many fish with my paddle in my life!

No Garmin. I biked out to ILRA to be part of the Adventure Challenge for Grand Ledge! Michelle Green did a spectacular job of putting together a small adventure race for 100 6th graders and their parents. They trekked, canoed and even climbed a rock wall! Soooo cool. Lots of fun. We are trying to think of ways of how this could potentially really take off. Wanted to go farther...but it was POURING.
