Introduced compass then did some blank map compass exercises. Then closed with a short regular course.
A couple of the kids found a yellow jacket nest and took it upon themselves to do some poking and prodding. Very fortunately, the temperature was cold enough that the jackers were unable to defend themselves, or it could have been ugly!
