Bike ride -- from home, one lap around the arboretum, up the Tyler Ave hill, and then three laps around Harper Lake / Davidson Mesa.

It was sunny, blue sky, and 40s, but there was a brisk wind -- first from the north, and then from the west. I had on the right layers to stay comfortable (bike tights, midweight wool shirt, and windbreaker), but the wind was unpleasant.

Also, my fingers went numb after about 30 minutes, which happens on pretty much every ride -- very annoying. I'm not sure if it's my gloves, hand position, grip shape, or what...

I would kinda like to withdraw from the 50 km "Old Man Winter" bike race I signed up for (it's in February). Hmmm.

I went to this morning's LoCOfit breakfast run mainly to give out our new hoodies and to try to offload my leftover cinnamon rolls. ;-)

Maybe it was all in my head (due to yesterday's blood donation), but my legs felt heavy and slow. I still managed to eke out three+ miles.

A beautiful, sunny & mild morning -- but now the weather is turning (dark sky, wind, Greeley smell, etc.). ;-)

(The logo is not centered, but I'm trying to not fixate on that...)

Blood donation #2 of 8 for third gallon pin. Unfortunately, it has been almost a year since my last donation (12/14/2017) -- but I feel like it takes a toll on me physically (for running & orienteering), so I never found a good time to do it during the the spring / summer / fall this year without potentially compromising a race or an o-meet.

I had a ridiculously early flight from Kansas City back to Denver this morning (6:20 am). But, since I was in bed at 7:45 pm last night -- and actually able to fall asleep -- getting up at 3:30 am wasn't so bad.
