JK Longs - 21st
Much better race today. Nav was pretty perfect, if a few different RCs to other people, only #2 messed up a bit in the control circle, but only for about a minute, and apparently others thought that it was in the wrong place. Heart felt really uncomfortable for the first 20m then got better - telling me I need to do a longer WU. Again was very slow, fastish on the paths, but no strength to run hard on the terrain, coughing all the way round and really wanted a water station to ease the throat, oh well.

JK Middles - 26th
Really, really bad race. Messed up #1, spent 7mins looking for the control, despite getting there very quickly, spent a long time searching for the correct bush. Then messed up #2, headed in completely the wrong direction, whilst reminding myself to focus and not mess up after my mistake...
To the rest of the first half was fine, just very slow because I knew I had already messsed up so badly that there was no coming back. Then second half I was bored and didn't feel tired enough so upped the pace and was able to keep running fast for longer, so finished tired still. Illness still really affecting my ability to breathe and run - was coughing the whole way round.

Think that I was too strict on myself in the warm up and got distracted by other people too much, while trying not to be. Put too much pressure on myself.

Not a great race. Nowhere near as fast as I wanted, and had completely underestimated the map - very complicated, so there were no breaks and feel like I was quite lucky, didn't manage to plan ahead enough. Also, still very ill, so couldn't breathe well and affected my pace.

Still really quite ill which is annoying, turned into much more of a cough now than a blocked nose, which is annoying again. If it continues tomorrow, ill tell the selectors
