Had to drive my dad to the airport for his flight home. Took a detour to Silver Star for a nordic ski as he had never been there, Conditions were a little tricky due to the recent warm up (FL went to 2000m) and then refreeze. Groomer had a hard time gettng the classic tracks deep in the snow. I was on the waxlable skis which was fine as long as my wax stayed on them. Any snowplowing would take off large amounts of wax. Nice and sunny though colder than I had expected (-10 vs forecast of -5). Had a nice lunch at Bugaboos and then back to the car.
