Started at what felt like a slow pace but of course towards the end was happy to be maintaining the same pace. Went up to Toaster and then the 5K parking lot. Trail to the ski jump looks fine but could only make it about a km on the 5k loop before having to turn around. Snow on the normal doubletrack ascent as well. Dropped the dog off after 10km and continued onto the greenbelt. Stopped at the hospital for a bathroom break. Hit the trails above Williamson lake but a lot of snow on anything that was on flat ground or in thick trees there still. Started feeling a bit tired at 18km and realized that I hadn't eating anything for half an hour as I had spaced out listening to music. A bit bookish but that got better after some honey stingers. So far so good this season in terms of knees, hips, etc.. Lets hope it stays that way.

Bonus ride as I was on call but no calls. A bunch of loops on the CPR trails. First ride on the new bike. Feels good - giving the super wide handlebars a chance but I think they will get shortened a little.

Greenbelt and then Toaster. 4km warm up then 4x1.5 km higher tempo sections with 500m rest. 6:20/6:20/6:00/7:30. Third was all on pavement while last was net uphill on technical trails.

Long slow flat run on the river flats. First 6 km with Courtney and then solo. Felt fine - just a bit tired for the last twenty minutes. Nice not to run on pavement - only about a km wasn't on trails.
