Oakey Hill. Mod 2. Encouraging run on a very good course. Mp however, punched a mod1 control - will bring a control description holder at the weekend.
No pain in the R calf.
PS second time I've MP'd on Oakey Hill, so 0/2.

Stromlo criterium. C grade. Held on ok, and lost the plot on the 3rd last lap with a little dig off the front. Three more on the penultimate lap and I was in the red zone, spat out just after the bell.
One of the fastest crits I've done on this circuit. What I didn't realise was that the pace actually dropped in the last 3 laps as I was getting impatient; they were all waiting for the bunch sprint. During the race there were lots of mini-breaks off the front but none got more than 100m and all were reeled in after at most a lap.

Saw Shannon and Banjo out training.

First proper NTRIP excursion.
Issue #1 wearing a bike helmet means banging it off the aerial continuously. So took helmet off. Aerial needs to be more securely tied in to the backpack.
Issue #2 Connection. Arrived, and crosshairs were up, went about 25m and they disappeared. Maybe shouldn't have clicked the double arrow.
I had been connected to Symonston, so tried to connect to Stromlo. No good. Was about to give up when it started raining. Gave it one more try to Symonston - and after about 5 minutes the crosshairs were back.
Issue #3. OOMap. managed to add a cliff, but a double click meant two cliffs. Couldn't find "undo". Then got into "rotate mode" and couldn't get out of it. Could change symbol but couldn't do any more adding. Can't find "settings". I will read the manual closely tonight.

Pedal Power ride to Lerida winery was cancelled at 7:30am, so a solo ride to Lake George. I was going to come back via Shingle Hill, but the road was closed due to floods. Dry, didn't get rained on until the last 5km, but cold (12 feels like 3) and windy (WNW 35 avg, 54 gusts).

Mt Majura. pretty much given up on a running comeback, just trying to get the injury well enough to be able to run at Lithgow. So entered "Fitzs Cycle Challenge" 165km, 2940m ascent on December 12 (work permitting). My longest ride ever has been 132km, twice! Once in 2004 and then again in 2006. The 2004 one was Perth to Jarrahdale, bailed on the way back and got the train from Armidale.
