Visited friends on Lake Rosseau. They asked us if we knew where to buy SUPs. Coincidentally, the guy we bought the kayak from had a couple (lives down the street) we picked them up (he is loving us now) and we hand delivered to Muskoka.

Major stretching today! lots of glute, hamstring and hip flexor work. It is amazing how flexible I am when I am not training!

Slow Road run from work. Then headed to Cirque de Soliel. Pretty cool stuff. They had me at how cool the tent was!

Woke up at 3:30 am this morning, HUNGRY - went into Logie's food stash for the race this weekend, downed an ensure. It helped. My training for when I can race again! I wonder if he will notice it missing (I have to admit I did get into his licorice allsorts also the other day)

This is actually a mix between running and hiking. Trails and roads.

Up Craigleath, almost to Loree,back around and down, with a loop around the hood! Had to do something WandAR and Logie left so early to Race in Bruce Race, I felt guilty!

Bash came up to cwood for a paddle. So nice of her to drive to me, right to my front door!. First thing I did was check the marine forecast as I am not to stable in my kayak yet. There is no where to stabilize my knees so it will take some real core activation and practice, I am convince also the extra 30 pounds on my upper body is messing with my balance as I do walk into walks and stub my toe frequently. I wanted to ensure that Bash did not spend her morning saving me in the Bay. I was lucky (I think she wanted more chop to see how her boat handles and perhaps to practice saving me :).

Bash turned on her garmin, to the lighthouse and back is just over 11 km. I was so disappointed....that is it!!!!!! Well, I guess if I keep practicing I can make it to cwood and back...one day.

just in the pool in the rain after our hot humid hike. Went to scenic caves, carried a 4.5 year old through the slick rocks. Ruined my nice white shirt trying to get my body through the cracks in the rocks

first run in awhile between the heat and sick. Starting slow again. Kid grew last night, felt much heavier!

Big rollers today on gbay not to stable on new boat. Logie was fine. ugh...
