Stockhill.
In the "commentary team" with Matt F and Mark B. Matt had a good start. I then managed to catch Ian W from oxford at number 1. I mucked up 5 a bit (50 s), drifted too far right intially, then at control standing on the hills to the north, and didn't see it. Probably pushing too hard before it.
Rough to 6, but managed to recover. Pulled away from Mr webb through 6 - 7, and didn't see anyone so wasn't pushing it as much as I should have been. missed 11 slightly (20 s), even though I went right past the building! Non optimum route to 12 (20s). Then went straight to 13 through the grot, really hard to move quickly and navgate as looking up I got sticks in my face, ended up at depression to NW (35 s). Then clean to finish, got pushed by Hollie orr on the track to 18, but couldn't run faster than her!
Handed over to Mark bown in 5th (2 edinburgh & 2 shefiield teams infront) where he consolidated our postion with a good run.
Felt a bit off from the party last night. Generally pretty pleased with this run, good to do some race pace stuff. Still need more speed work. The legs aren't turning over quick enough. Technically about 2.30 of mistakes, which is too much. I feel technically I'm going alright, but looking forward to some technical sessions to brush up in the next 2 months.

Cracker day, so got out on the bike in the afternoon, did the full ashton court loop and 50 acres wood. Havn't been in 50 acres wood for sometime, and never biked it. All the tracks were dry and compact, amazing for britain at this time of year. Some thinnings on the ground, very twisty, and not smooth flowing. Good ride.
