orienteering race 49:02 [3]
Brown course at the US Champs. I never really got into this course and never pushed myself. Was sloppy on a lot of controls having to hook around to get them. Never more than 10 or 20 meters off, but would have to stop and think and figure out what I had done in order to correct. Just not really mentally into it I guess. Had a decent split to the finish though!
Very glad I made the trip out. The park was really pretty and the orienteering was fine. The company was the best. Just what I needed.
