Still feeling pretty shattered, Wednesday has wiped me out - so with dodgy hip flexors decided to ride A for training as there would be less temptation to race. As it happened my front brake gave up before I started so I had to walk down the hills (no running to save hip) making me super slow!!

Great little area, would have loved to be pushing it all the way as was really enjoying attacking the steep climbs! They were my downfall however as were different to the road riding climbs I've been doing and proved to aggrivate hip anyway. Made it 5 controls in and called it quits. Rode all but 1/3 of one hill though so feeling reasonable.

Served the intended purpose of a great distraction from the last week or so of work. :-)

Immediately after feeling the hip twinge called it quits. slow back to the finish pushing up and steep down as could feel it pedaling uphill now.

Ride to the bike tree to buy break pads for the MTB (on new record for almost breaking on the pistons at the O5)! Back over sheephill and through crosspool.

Had wil on standby to rescue me as was shattered but once I got going felt ok.

Work went on too long to fit in a proper swim so just a quick 10 mins before ESPS. Mainly arms only with a couple proper front crawl to pick up a float.

After lying on the floor to gather the energy to do somthing, made it onto the rollers. Exhausted after patient 5, made me feel a bit better. Nothing special planned, just spinning, 5-10mins wu, 10-15mins hardish, 10mins wd.

Nerve is deffinitely settling down thanks to even more stretching advised by Noel at the weekend. Annoyingly my hip flexors still feel really sore and its difficult to lift my right leg properly even when walking which has been a problem since the 1st Feb! I've given them loads of attention and everything...

Treadmill. I missed running a bit too much last night.

However its finally happened, I've added Jogging as an activity...I just can't class this as running so Jogging it is... 9kmh for 10 mins before circuits. Possibly best when landing on my toes but could feel it by the end...rubbish
