Orienteering race 44:41 [3] 5.6 km (7:59 / km) +250m 6:31 / km
shoes: VJ Integrator

Well first full race for a long time just soo happy about that. Also first time I have made so much mistakes for a long time that bit wasn't as good.

Just really couldn't get my head into it think I was trying too hard not too think about my leg but started well spiking first 4 then just got lazy really and missed a relatively easy control. Then just started making lots of mistakes losing 5-6 min at least overall. Then leg kicked in roughly 35min but it was a fairly easy last bit so just turned off the gas just went about 60% and cruised in.

Was quite happy to see I was in contention at the beginning despite not having trained for near 6 weeks now. Felt like I was going really well in the winter months just gutted not to be able to show that.

Can't say I havce too much hopes for selections oh well more time in summer to go oing abroad.

Well started the middle race at about 90% of my race pace didnt feel to bad then after about 10min starting aching a little bit so stopped and then got cramp in my foot not sure why. But more hopeful still not sure if i will be able to do the whole distance next week.

Orienteering 10:00 [2]

I ran for a very short distance very slowly on some open grassland at sprint races today.
Felt weird and my knees felt that i hadn't run for a long time.
As for the calf didnt hurt too much to start off with but when trying to run fast starting aching, more down towards the achilles though.
So good and bad but pretty sure I am on the mend and it shouldn't be too long hopefully.
