When you require the back to start function on your Garmin to relocate. Low vis, vague round shapes and no compass meant I got very disoriented. Amazing area though. Maybe should stop being a cheapskate and buy a southern compass or at least take a left handed one for emergencies.

One of the best mountain days I've had. Blue sky, not too hot and weirdly no wind at all. Not sure I've ever been at that height without a breath of wind.

Normally these long days aren't Laura's forte but today I was struggling to keep up on the uphills even after 4 hours. Some very techy downhills let me catch up a bit.

A cracking start to our mini winter road trip.
