Paddle (Ocean) 1:55:00 [3] 14.0 km (8:13 / km)
shoes: Endorfinn Ski

Paddle from Hilllarys to Ocean Reef and back with stevej, jolt, and matsiv.
Took a while to get comfortable on the ski, but felt very good on the way back. Some small runs on the way which where lot's of fun.
Matt was much quicker on the PRS and I was having to work harder to keep up with him on the way back (the PRS cuts through the water very nicely) . Joel claimed he may be a bit slower today but couldn't hide his good form. Stevej had an rare off day on the water(1st i've seen), so probably another go on each ski would be best.
A very enjoyable paddle, looking forward to lot's more in preparation for this years avon.

Trail run north of Jindalee. I couldn't do the run along the coast due to the entry area being fenced off now. I parked further inland and ran towards the coast on some very sandy/hilly tracks and back. A good stretch at a park afterwards and hopefully the knee will be fine (no trouble during the run)

I did a 400m FS time trial after a warmup.
7:33 - just outside world record pace *
Slowed down a lot near the end but at least I now have something to measure progress against in the future
More FS and 400m pullbuoy, 100m kickboard.

Craigie Leisure Centre 25m pool (50m pool hole is dug & will be ready in 12mth's)
As with my paddle on the weekend I wanted something to measure my progress against and as I haven't done anything like this in swimming I decided on a 750m time trial. (500m is the furthest I have swum without stopping)
A pretty boring time of 15:00 however I was happy to know I could go that far nonstop. Now I have something to measure against in the future, however I may try a different test in a 50m pool.

I managed to borrow a kickboard and finished the session with some kicking drills and pull buoy laps. (it was one of those fancy kickboard/pullbuoy gadgets)

Run warm up/down 10:00 [1]

Run 18:09 [3] 3.5 km (5:11 / km)

Another easy run keeping the HR down. Easier than last time except when into the wind. Taped the knee, felt a little unstable but no pain.
Plenty of stretching afterwards.
Will probably get some swelling & stiffness in the knee in the next couple of days as with previous runs, however the degree and duration is decreasing each time.
