Paddle 30:00 [1]
shoes: PRS

Easy paddle at Hillarys marina with Jacko.
First time back paddling for quite a while for both of us so just a cruise around for a couple of laps.

Ride 35:51 [3] 18.03 km (30.2 kph) +167m
shoes: Giant OCR3

Ride from home up Marmion Ave to Pipidinny Rd and back.
At the roundabout I had a quick chat to a guy riding from Two rocks who was debating whether to turn back or continue on to Mindarie where he had originally planned to turn, he was having a bad day and really not enjoying riding into the wind. I suggested he keep going, purely for the selfish reason that I may get an easier return into the wind by working together. Unfortunately he decided to turn and I was left alone to ride back.
Roughly 16min out and 20min return, I wish he had decided to keep going.

Note

I've been advised by my doctor not to do anything too strenuous with regards to exercise. Running is out, my head felt pretty bad after Sundays 60km ride so shorter rides are in order for a while. Since the fall my blood pressure has gone up but is almost back to normal now, the doc seems to think I am at risk of an intracranial bleed if I do too much too soon so even if he is being a bit dramatic I think i'll err on the side of caution and try and just get in some regular shorter rides in for now. I'll limit the time to no more than an hour and back off if I feel the HR climbing too much.

Ride 32:00 [3] 15.19 km (28.5 kph) +98m
shoes: Giant OCR3

Morning ride before work. I headed south down Connolly Dr into a pretty strong headwind then up Neerabup Rd to Marmion Ave and back with the wind.
I tried to keep a steady effort most of the way without pushing too hard into the wind or up the hill but enjoyed the breeze pushing me along on the return.
As of 2pm headache is no worse than usual for this time so I'll try a few more rides like this before upping the time or effort significantly.

Garmin showed avg HR at 201 and max at 251 so I sure as hell hope that is a problem with the strap or watch.
