Eagle view (I did see an eagle) trail run with some runners training for the 6 inch. A group of about 10 today. I wasn't sure how my calf would go today, it felt quite tight a couple of km's in and I considered turning around but just kept going at a nice comfortable pace. About 5 regroups during the run so actual time out there was probably about 25 mins more. My calf never really loosened up fully but it didn't really give me any problems as long as I didn't try and push the pace at all. I felt very comfortable at the end of the run.
I really enjoyed this trail, much nicer than the Walyunga run.

Easy paced run. My right calf was a bit sore after the weekends long run so I've rested it and decided on an easy run today. Just before going down a hill about 3 km into the run I felt a slight pain in my calf and decided to turn around then rather than risk aggravating it coming back up the hill. A couple of sharp pains on the return but not too bad if I kept the pace easy.
Ice & anti inflams after the run, more stretching & massage & hopefully it'll be fine for a LSD run on the weekend.
