Note

Another physio appt today and I have a bit more range of motion in my neck.
Unlike yesterday I'm getting some relief from medication today, however I'm still pissing & moaning about how much pain I'm as I'm sure that helps a little as well.

Note

I hurt my neck/back this morning. I was hoping strong anti inflams and muscle relaxants would settle it down but by the time I got to work it was worse so I made a physio appt and struggled through an hour of work before the treatment. The usual dry needling and massage/manipulation of my neck & shoulder and it felt a little better but this afternoon & evening it has been extremely painful, unable to stand, sit or lay down. Leaving the only option to piss & moan about how much pain I'm in to everyone ( which helps a little, but I'm still loading up on any medication that will help). I have another appt for tomorrow so hopefully things will improve after that.
The good news is the physio seems to think that the neural tension is also related to my calf pain, glute pain, hip pain, lower back pain and leg/glute numbness that comes on about 25mins into every paddle. All of these injuries are on my right side so hopefully finding a common cause and some proper treatment may help all of these annoying problems that pop up fom time to time.

Note

A repeat of last Monday, right calf pain causing a slight limp.
Above the achilles, with the occasional sharp shooting pain. I'll stick with plenty of stretching & rollering & have a planned massage next Monday. Only a few short easy paced runs planned before the 6 inch so it should settle down enough to get through.
