I've had a pretty easy week due to a slight niggle in my right calf.
After a couple of days off it has been feeling better so I headed out for an easy trail run today. There was some tightness early on but after about 8k it eased off & felt ok.
Unfortunately a few hours after the run it's feeling a little tender again & i'm limping slightly. I'm pretty certain it's due to a couple of trigger points that I'm usually able to release myself but have been a bit stubborn this time. Looks like a few more days off running & a visit to the physio for some needling.
I think last sundays run, although it felt comfortable, should have been run at a much slower pace to recover properly after the big run on saturday. The problem seems to have been since then.
