Fun row with my teamates for ESAR Barb and Christine. So excited to race with these two - great ladies - lots of fun and will get to see Barb in action with the maps and learn some stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yipee!

Trail Running race 5:10:00 [4] 50.0 km (6:12 / km)

Did Sulphur Springs race on Saturday - beautiful day - saw lots of friendly faces out there - Sean, Dee, Bash and Bent, Kelly, Laura Rowe and Patty.
Got lost for about 10 minutes on the 2nd 20 km lap - went right by a rope that was going down a hill (how do I keep doing this?) Another 50 km girl followed me - poor thing and we both hit the end of trail with steep drop which we both agreed was not part of course. Anyways back on track and a bit more focused now on not gettiing lost any more! completed first 10 lap, 2nd 20 km and felt good going in to 3rd and final lap. Great to see other racers out there pushing hard!
Was on my way up to last aid station excited to be done when saw 2 - 50 km women coming down - looking at me a little strangely as I did them thinking they were behind me........now really worried that I pulled another "off course section" and missed something.........still waiting for final results - not sure what happened out there! Looking forward to next race!

Raced Deerhurst with the Bobkittens and had a really good time! Great team with tons of determination and strength - had a tough time on biking hills keeping up with them - thank god for flats and down hills!
Lots of fun - hope to race as a Bobkitten again!
